Feeling stressed? Don't blame the holidays, but the eclipses!

Warning! We entered a period of turbulence that extends past mid-January 2020. No matter what we do in the next few weeks, we shall remember to breathe! At all moments, let’s be receptive to what happens, take a big breath, pause, and then act in a calmly manner. If not, we will regret our abrupt reactions and impulsive decisions.

If we have been expecting some results from what we set in motion since last summer (last eclipse period), my advice is to relax because what is meant to happen will. We already did the work, let’s now enjoy the holidays and patiently wait for the payoff. We need not add any extra stress. On the contrary, now is the time to practice trusting the Universe to deliver, because it will.

New Year comes early this year! Let’s rejoice! The Dec 25/26 solar eclipse indicates strong potential for renewal, a new path, a new beginning that we will pursue in 2020. Let’s welcome what wants to be celebrated.

The veil between the seen and the unseen is thin during this eclipse portal. All beings have an accrued chance to connect with our spiritual guides, let ourselves be shown the way, and realize our destined journey. A very positive window indeed, where we may concretize our dreams.

The heightened eclipse energy usually starts being felt two weeks before the first eclipse (solar eclipse: Dec 25/26, 2019). It culminates between the two eclipses (lunar eclipse: Jan 10, 2020). It then wanes over the following two weeks. However, all of Jan 2020 will be more intense than normal. See what the cosmos has in store further down.

The whole six weeks (from around Dec 11, 2019 to around Jan 24, 2020) may feel similar to a full moon (amplified sensitivity) every day! It will be an emotionally charged time in general. Breathing, being present and appreciating the moment is what we’ve got to do. I know those remedies are cliché but that attitude is appropriate to weather through this intensely emotional period. No shortcuts are available. Ironically, this protocol is the shortcut! A healthy attitude and nutrition, exercise and sleep will help release stress and rejuvenate. Most importantly, they will keep us on course and avoid getting us sidetracked by irrelevant drama.

If we have insecurities, eclipses push them back up to the surface. Whatever we have buried under the rug, comes back to the light, now. We can’t escape our demons, our fears and must confront the source of our doubts and anxieties.

I spoke of parent-child relationships in my past three blogs (Dec 11, 10, 5). Those two eclipses are in the signs of Capricorn and Cancer, family issues are to be ironed out in a reasoned and practical way. Childhood patterns and unhealthy family dynamics are to be transcended at this time. Let’s ask ourselves when feeling troubled: “What would Love say and do in those circumstances?”. The answer lies in the question.

For the ones doing the work, carefully placing the pebbles on top of each other, those two eclipses may be very helpful and healing. They will stir up stuck energy, release it and help us manifest what we have been striving for over the last six months or year (main life themes travel in sets of three eclipses).

If we have stacked the building blocks one by one, overtime, we may finally get our payback. The seeds we planted around the last new moon eclipse (July 2, 2019 or Jan 5, 2019) will blossom around the next full moon eclipse (Jan 10, 2020). By then, if it seems that the promises have not yet been fulfilled, whatever we were hoping for will occur at the last minute. Uranus is stationed on the same day as the lunar eclipse, electrifying the already charged sky around Jan 10! That planet brings surprises and reversal of situations but always with the intention to liberate. Uranus resonates with freedom (from bondage of any kind that holds us back).

Two days later, on Jan 12, 2020, the conjunction between Saturn/Pluto is exact! Everything will be dramatic and tense! Let’s make those moments vivid, powerful, extraordinary or profound instead of extreme, excessive, harsh or violent. Let’s focus on creating moments that will take our breath away as opposed to literally forgetting to breathe.

These eclipses are really helpful for the ones with projects that we have been aspiring to concretize. If we did our homework, we have nothing to fear and everything to gain.

However, as during all eclipse periods, even zen people may get invited on a roller coaster ride. Even the calm ones may get their feathers ruffled. It will be normal to feel crazed during such explosive times. We can use this astrology information to take a moment to consciously breathe and reflect, before we react.

I repeat, it is imperative to remind ourselves to remain cool under all circumstances throughout this holiday season and beyond. It is time indeed to transform fears crawling in from the past into excitement about future opportunities. If we signed up for adventure, let’s cheer! Good stuff is coming thanks to the eclipses :-)
